Join the ranks of philanthropists John D. Rockefeller, Cornelius Vanderbilt, Marshall Field, and George Pullman! You can do so by contributing to a fund to honor General John A. Logan. John A. Logan, the founder of Memorial Day, was a member of the Illinois General Assembly, the House of Representatives, the U.S. Senate, and was also a candidate for Vice President of the United States. Logan has a mountain named after him in Colorado and is honored with plaques and statues across America. The General John A. Logan Museum is committed to keeping the legacy alive and we need your support. The Logan Museum offers a tremendous opportunity for those with an interest in the history of our nation before the turn of the century. But the efforts of the museum need to be constantly supported with funding for changing exhibits, operating costs, research, archaeology, and acquisitions. The Murphysboro Park District is a primary museum benefactor and other assistance and fundraising continues to be of major importance. Will you please help us? Our
sponsorship program has been developed with realistic levels of funding
and offers advertising on sponsorship signs and premium incentive
packages. Sponsorship funds fall in the categories listed below. Become
a part of history by contributing to this historical highlight of southern
Illinois. Your generosity will be greatly appreciated.
Payment: Please decide on your level of sponsorship and make check payable to General John A. Logan Museum. Please include your name and address. Mail the check to: General John A. Logan Museum, PO Box 563, Murphysboro, IL 62966. All
