Come join us and be a part of the

General John A. Logan Museum family

As a small museum with an even smaller staff, the General John A. Logan Museum depends upon volunteers to bring quality exhibits and educational programs to Southern Illinois.

Additional volunteers are always needed.  Docents can help with research, office work, gift shop, grounds, building maintenance, restoration projects, school and group tours, special events, Logan Days, Kids Dig It, and period clothing construction.

Volunteers can be any age! If you are thinking of a career in history or museums the John A. Logan Museum is a great resume builder! Work as little or as much as you want, but we suggest a minimum of four hours a month to keep current and involved in all the wonderful activities.
