As a small museum with an even smaller staff, the General John A. Logan Museum depends on volunteers to bring quality exhibits and educational programs to Southern Illinois. Additional volunteers are always needed. Volunteers can help with office work, gift shop, grounds, building maintenance, restoration projects, school and group tours, special events, Logan Days, Kids Dig It, and period clothing construction.  Volunteers can be any age.  Thinking of a career in history or museums?  The John A. Logan Museum is a great resume builder! Volunteers can work as little or as much as they want, but a minimum of four hours a month is suggested.
